What an amazing stay we had at The Maple Inn , Paul and Caitlin were perfect hosts and were so attentive and friendly. Our room was so comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Now the breakfast was something else - Paul made me the fluffiest most gorgeous gluten free waffle i have ever had , thank you so much for that , you made me feel so special and not a pain in the neck that i feel with some places i visit . Parrsborough was a lovely place and had so much interesting places - especially have the World’s highest tides . We enjoyed the brewery too.

What a lovely inn in a lovely town! We arrived at about 4:45 and were warmly greeted. We enjoyed our bottle of prosecco on the deck. The innkeeper Paul sat and spoke with us briefly, long enough to be welcoming and friendly but sensitive to our privacy. The common rooms of the inn are decorated with beautiful artwork by the owner's mother. The Ship's Company Theatre just down the street had a show called "Fiddles and Feet" which combined awesome fiddles, guitars, bass, and percussion with occasional Irish step dance. So fun! The next morning, our breakfast was 3 delicious courses. First, coffee and lemon blueberry scones. Next, fresh fruit cup with a bit of yogurt and housemade granola. Finally, a banana waffle in the shape of a maple leaf with banana and strawberries and a link of maple blueberry sausage. Everything was delicious and served cheerfully, perfectly paced. Each room in the inn had its own table so no need to socialize unless you wanted which we did, with a couple from Halifax. They gave us suggestions to visit in the Halifax area. As we checked out, a smooth and easy process, we took tiny Canadian flag pins to wear through the rest of our vacation. The Maple Inn was a wonderful welcome to Nova Scotia. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Maple Inn and reading about the owners' story and their efforts towards energy efficiency. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast with a rich history. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the 3-course breakfast was a treat. Great spot!

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and given a tour of the property, which included a detailed rundown of all the amenities. There were so many options like 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and water, plus a great selection of games, puzzles, and books, just to name a few amenities. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. To top it all off, we had a private three-course breakfast that felt upscale yet relaxed. The food was excellent, too. It was a truly memorable experience!

From the moment you arrive, the Maple Inn exudes charm and class. The welcoming entryway, the inviting front porch swings, and the warm greeting from Paul, the owner and host, immediately set the tone for a memorable stay. Paul goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Paul personally walks you through the 24/7 amenities, which include coffee, tea, popcorn, and more. Guests can enjoy the cozy sitting room with its fireplace or relax outdoors on the beautiful grounds. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always helpful, while also respecting guests’ privacy—something you don’t always find in mainstream hotel stays. Our room was both cozy and comfortable, creating the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—a three-course delight that began with your choice of beverages and a freshly baked scone. Each morning featured a main course of either eggs Benedict or waffles, with a refreshing bowl of yogurt and fruit. Every dish was beautifully presented and skillfully prepared, with thoughtful gluten-free options also available. Each morning truly brought an unexpected delight. What makes the Maple Inn truly special is the way you are treated like family throughout your stay. The Maple Inn is not just accommodations, it is an experience of comfort, hospitality and local charm. Highly recommended. This is a wonderful place to relax, recharge, and enjoy all that Nova Scotia has to offer.

My spouse and I shared a room, and my senior citizen parents had another room, on our recent stay at The Maple Inn. We had high expectations, and The Maple Inn exceeded them all! The rooms were all gorgeous with countless thoughtful and beautiful touches! The breakfast was amazing; the only problem is that we started getting used to it! (3-course, from scratch breakfast daily. They took our many food allergies into account with great care.) From the moment we entered, we felt both pampered and completely at home! We will go back, and I give The Maple Inn my highest, most enthusiastic recommendation!

Comfortable B&B atmosphere in a historic house. Better service, comfort and quality than an Airbnb for a better price. Friendly hosts, gourmet breakfasts, pleasant lounge areas.
